On the #LoveChange Showcase: Graeme Smith’s baby’s booties

The impact that Graeme Smith has had on the game and its supporters is best illustrated in a 2009 match against Australia, when batting with a broken hand earned him a standing ovation.

Since retiring from cricket in 2014, Smith has been involved in the restaurant-business. He is one of the players of Vasco’s in ,Greenpoint, Cape Town and says that the Portuguese tavern is his favourite place to watch the game with his mates.

According to Gary Kirsten, Graeme is “the best test captain ever”, but, Smith’s proudest moment is the day his daughter was born and Adidas sent him some baby footgear. We are lucky to be displaying these, very special, booties on the #LoveChange Showcase.

* Every week, a guest on The Dan Nicholl Show donates an item for display on the #LoveChange Showcase, which is a collection of memories and Change Moments. These items tie into BrightRock’s and the Change Exchange’s #LoveChange philosophy. BrightRock are the official sponsors of the show. Remember to tune in on SuperSport 1 every Wednesday at 19:00 to see Dan interviewing his Bright and Beautiful guests. And we’ll of course also be sharing some more highlights here on the Change Exchange.
