Maya Fisher-French is a well-known personal financial journalist and the life force behind financial website MayaonMoney.co.za and City Press’s My Money My Lifestyle. Maya has a passion for helping people make the right money decisions and a particular dislike for financial jargon and false financial marketing – hence her move from working in the financial industry to writing about it.
Inspired after editing the South African version of Dave Ramsey’s best seller “The Total Money Makeover”, Maya is currently working on finishing her Maya on Money book.
Her family and friends unwittingly provide a great deal of content for her articles, although not always in a good way so names may be changed to protect the innocent.
