Laughs On Line: The new norm and laughing through it

As we pull together, every week some of South Africa’s best comedians will be tickling our funny bones by telling us about how they’re adapting to a rapidly changing world, and how they’re Change fit.

This week, we’re laughing in the face of the lockdown with comedy skits to raise your spirits. In this episode of Laughs on Line, Stuart Taylor rounds up some of South Africa’s funniest videos. This week we talk lockdown make-up routines, home schooling, and home workout routines. Change Coach Dalin gets Stormers Sergeal Petersen to flatten his curves, and we finally understand the mystery of why a plastic bag is called a “Checkers” in South Africa.

Change brings uncertainty and with uncertainty comes fear. Over the past few months, the world we know has changed dramatically, and we’ve all had to adapt and become Change fit.

In fact, South Africans seem to have a unique muscle strength when it comes to change. It’s a strength derived from the story of our unity; and made stronger by our daily lives. It’s a strength we sometimes take for granted – and yet, it’s something the world could probably learn quite a bit about from us.
