Chef Peter Goffe-Wood believes recipes should be accessible to anyone – no overly fancy frills and exotic ingredients, just great food cooked really well. That’s part of the reason for his success – he’s been a judge on MasterChef South Africa and Ultimate Braai Master and is the author of three highly acclaimed cookbooks (A Life Digested, Kitchen Cowboys, and Blue Restaurant).
In this video, he teaches Dan Nicholl how to make a moreish, but simple, grilled steak with béarnaise sauce. Dan manages with ease – and you can too! Watch the video and give the recipe a try yourself for an incredible, restaurant-quality meal without stepping foot outside the house.
Peter also chats about the soup kitchen he’s involved in that’s helping to feed hundreds of people during the lockdown. As life in lockdown has shown, being further apart can somehow bring out the best in us, and bring us together. Find out how you can help too at the end of the video.
