On the #LoveChange Showcase: Grant Lottering’s helmet

Dan describes Grant Lottering as “…the first person we’ve ever had on the show that used to be dead…” During a race in Italy in 2013, Grant went down a mountain too fast, his speed combined with water on the road caused him to lose control and crash into a huge rock. The accident was very severe and it took Grant 11 months to recover from it.

Lottering, and others, organised the “Iron”possible endurance race with the sole purpose of raising funds for underprivileged children. Grant’s goal was to complete 420 km through the alps in 24 hours, he exceeded his own expectations and completed the distance in only 19 hours and 38 minutes.

The helmet that Grant wore in the “Iron”possible race is the latest addition to our #LoveChange ShowCase.

* Every week, a guest on The Dan Nicholl Show donates an item for display on the #LoveChange Showcase, which is a collection of memories and Change Moments. These items tie into BrightRock’s and the Change Exchange’s #LoveChange philosophy. BrightRock are the official sponsors of the show. Remember to tune in on SuperSport 1 every Wednesday at 19:00 to see Dan interviewing his Bright and Beautiful guests. And we’ll of course also be sharing some more highlights here on the Change Exchange.
