Kevin Collins

Kevin says he paints because it’s the only way this mad world makes sense to him. Oil on canvas is his medium because of the wonderful texture it creates. His paintings are often narrative in composition and content and they gather information rather like a meander around his life, drawing together bits of a story, and some very real elements – some remembered and some overheard.  These snippets cluster around a theme or sometimes a title and come together to make the final work.
