Marc Lottering is an icon of the South African stage, whose unique comedy brand of seemingly gentle stories and observations with a sting in the tail has won him a special place in the hearts of the nation.
A thread of laughter ran through the entire interview, but it never negated his deeply thoughtful view of the world, and of himself.
