Don’t Miss Our Latest Iris Session About Bringing In Extra Cash

7070-1_IrisSessions2016May_JR_V1_6It’s no secret that South African households are stretched to the limit thanks to the rising cost of almost everything. And the odds that your income is going to keep up with this are also slim, which means times are about to get even tougher.

But before you reach out for that credit card – there’s no reason this winter has to be your winter of discontent! There are many ways to stay financially afloat, and David O’Sullivan unpacked some ways to bring in extra cash for your household in our most recent Iris Session, which was live streamed on Tuesday, 17 May 2016.

Radio journalist and life coach Benita Levin, and businesswoman and entrepreneur Makgotso Nkwanyana joined David in the studio to talk about ways to supplement your income. Join the conversation as we get through this financial crunch together!

What is an Iris Session?

It is a Google Hangout that you can listen to live via Google+, or later, via YouTube and the Change Exchange site. Each session lasts 30 to 45 minutes and if you are watching live, you can send your questions through to the facilitator via our Google+ page. The facilitator will then bring your questions into the conversation.

Why ‘Iris’?

Iris is the name of BrightRock’s icon – the “i” figure in our logo, which represents each individual person touched by BrightRock. We named this figure Iris to further imbue it with human qualities, and picked the name in reference to eye – which lets in the light – and because the irises of the eye, much like one’s fingerprints, are unique to the individual. It’s also a reference to the Greek goddess of light whose rainbow connects the heavens with the Earth.

These sessions act as digital conversation spaces that we hope will provide you with new perspectives and shed light on the moments of change in your life.
